Our position
AfriGrid was founded on a straightforward observation: the two most critical infrastructure gaps for African businesses are reliable energy and reliable software. Most firms address one or the other. We address both — and the intersection between them is where our most differentiated work happens.
Our energy practice designs, builds, finances, and operates commercial solar PV and battery storage systems for factories, hospitals, hotels, estates, and industrial facilities. We offer EPC contracts, Energy-as-a-Service (zero CAPEX), Power Purchase Agreements, and standalone O&M contracts.
Our software practice builds vertical SaaS platforms, AI automation agents, IoT telemetry systems, and data migration pipelines — purpose-built for African enterprise constraints: NGN payment rails, NDPR data residency, intermittent connectivity, and the specific regulatory environments of Nigerian industries.
The combination is not incidental. The same engineering discipline that produces a 99.97% uptime energy system produces software that doesn't fail quietly. The same operations team that monitors 148 solar sites from our NOC also operates our clients' software infrastructure. Reliability is a culture, not a feature.
